IQ Chess FNQ is the first business of its kind in regional Queensland. We're here to support chess of all kinds, but we're especially interested in bringing the educational benefits of chess to children right across the region.

Our core business is providing chess coaching services to schools, including such things as lunch-time chess clubs, before- and after-school training sessions, classroom visits, and chess as a fully integrated co-curricula activity.

In support of our core coaching activities, we will also conduct private coaching, run tournaments, and support chess clubs in the region for both children and the general public.

Drawing upon the resources of the Gardiner Chess Centre, Australia's premier centre of excellence for chess and chess coaching, IQ Chess aims to foster a love of chess in children and work with schools and parents to help children reap the educational benefits of playing this mind sport.
